Battery enclosure are available and to provide physical protection with IP54, more organised cabling and electrical isolation switch. It is better not to use IP65 as all battery needs to breathe. Material are good for outdoor usage. Iron with powder coating and stainless steel lock. Though the enclosure can be place outdoor, we do not recommend that the battery enclosure are not put in direct sun as the heat will affect the life span of the battery.

Opal Large Energy Storage Systems

For Commercial and Industrial applications, the system size will require multiply inverters and batteries to be connected together. Opal Energy hybrid inverters three phase can be parallel up-to 9 units. i.e. 12kW x 9 units = 108kW. The system can accommodate approx.. 140kWp of solar array. If the system is larger, we can multiply the system except the critical loads need to be separated.
